The Laboratory will send your test results anywhere needed all over the country. We strive to provide cost effective and accurate test results in a timely manner.
24-Hour Laboratory Services
The Wayne County Hospital Laboratory is a 24 hour 7 day a week CAP (College of American Pathology) accredited laboratory fully staffed by ASCP certified technicians and technologists. The Laboratory offers adult and pediatric blood drawing services.
Testing Procedures
A written physician, ARNP, or PA order is required for outpatient testing to be performed. Laboratory results assists in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases by performing tests on blood and other body fluids. All results will be faxed to the ordering physician or facility once completed.

- Hematology/coagulation studies
- Routine chemistry as well as specialty immunodiagnostic testing
- Blood bank: blood type, antibody screenings, and crossmatch
- Microbiology: cultures and sensitivities
- Urinalysis/serology
