The Security Department oversees the hospital and maintains a safe environment through a variety of methods including routine security rounds throughout the facility and grounds.
Security
Wayne County Hospital has internal and external monitoring and locking systems to provide a secure, controlled, and safe environment.
Cameras are monitored and we work with local Law Enforcement to prevent theft, damage, or harm to our staff, visitors, and facility.
Should you require someone to assist you to your vehicle during dusk or nighttime hours, please call 606-340-3228. For other security matters call 606-340-3240.

- Ongoing Safety Policy and Procedures Annual Review and Revisions
- Annual Safety Education for Employees
- Safety Orientations for all New Employees
- Maintenance of Life Safety Codes for our Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems
