Radiology Services
Our radiology department offers a complete line of radiology services to meet your needs. We have 3 radiologists on staff as well as an after hours radiology service.
All your exams will be read the same day and can be read quickly in STAT situations. All final reports are available 1-2 days after readings. Our radiologists are board certified and have many years of experience.
Our experienced staff brings a hometown, friendly atmosphere to the hospital, and will always try to accommodate your schedule to get you the quickest reading possible. We have state-of-the-art equipment that is state certified and physicist tested annually.
The newest additions and services to our department include our 16 slice Toshiba CT scanner, which provides precise low dose imaging. We now also offer Low Dose lung cancer screenings.
We have a mobile MRI unit that has the highest Tesla (magnet strength) in the county. The MRI is at Wayne County Hospital on Thursdays. This closed MRI unit is designed for precise imaging and will provide the images needed for many advanced diagnostic needs. In most instances, you will not have to worry about having your MRI repeated, as is often the case with other low field-strength open MRIs in our area.

Our Services
Mammography
Our mammography tech has 11 years experience. We have a Hologic mammography unit and we also do Breast Ultrasounds and needle localization breast biopsies. Anyone over 40, that is not experiencing any issues, does not need an order from their doctor for a screening mammogram.
CAT Scan
We have a board certified CT tech that has been working in this field for 10 years. We offer all standard CT studies, angiography exams and lung cancer screenings. We also offer CT’s with oral and IV contrast.
Fluoroscopy
We have a board certified speech pathologist that is trained in Modified Barium swallow studies. We also offer UGI, Barium swallow, BE and Small bowel studies. All fluoro studies are done with our radiologist on Mondays.
Echocardiogram
These exams are offered every other week on Tuesday evenings and are read by Dr. Mubashir Qazi who is board certified in Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
MRI
Mobile MRI unit comes every other week on Thursdays. Our MRI tech’s are board certified.
Nuclear Medicine
All of our Nuclear Medicine scans are done on Tuesday and Thursday, weekly. Our Nuc Med tech is Board and state certified and has 15 years experience.
Dexa
Our Dexa unit screens for bone density.
X-Ray
We offer walk-in/same day x-ray services. All you need is an order from your doctor.
Ultrasound
Our Ultrasound tech has 21 years experience.
