Wayne County Hospital Volunteers and the hours they donate provide a priceless service to our community.
The Volunteers consist of 32 active members who give of themselves in time and service to make this Hospital a better place for patients, families, employees and the community.
The Volunteers manage and work in the Hospital Gift Shop Monday thru Friday from 8:00 A.M. – 3 P.M. daily where they provide numerous items for purchase for your home, gifts and special occasions. The Shop also has a selection of snacks and beverages.
Wayne County Hospital Volunteers also help in several hospital departments and sponsor activities throughout the year to raise money for the purchase of special needed items and hospital equipment. The community is encouraged to support our Volunteers in these fund-raisers which include:
- Annual Valentine Luncheon in the month of February
- Annual $5.00 Jewelry Sale held in the months of April and October of each year
Donations to the Wayne County Hospital Volunteers are always accepted and welcomed with all money raised being used to benefit the Hospital and its patients.
