Position: Imaging Services Technologist
Job Type: Fulltime
Reports to: Imaging Services Manager
Job Summary: Will be responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing treatment and use of equipment to minimize hazards of electric shock, burns and extraneous radiation to patients. Will instruct and prepare patients for roentgenographic and/or fluoroscopic examinations and CT exams. Further modality training will be available.
Requirements:
• Associates Degree
• Graduated from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Certified by state of KY to practice and administer radiation
• Current CPR certification
• Prefer at least one year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist
• Must possess excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patient/family
• Basic computer knowledge
